Gamers all over the world have loved the Angry Birds series and therefore more and more games are being developed in that way. Angry Birds have remained among the top smartphone games and therefore Rovio is trying to build a better franchise on it. Rovio has already tried hard to release Angry Birds and Angry Birds Space on every possible level and now the company has made an announcement that they are planning to come up with trilogy that is very much under development. Rovio said that there is too much that they are working on and therefore the trilogy has been under development for long time.
Activision and Rovio has confirmed now that the trilogy games will help them to improve their revenues since the gamers are already in love with the Angry Birds games. Rovio announced that the trilogy will have original Angry Birds, Seasons and Rio. Many of the gamers would feel sad to know the Rovio has not included Angry Birds Space to the trilogy. The company said that these games are only for gaming consoles and they will be a huge hit considering that they were hit when they were released individually.
Activision said that all the games are designed for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and Nintendo 3DS and therefore they will not work on any other platform. All the games will be available on the same disc and on the same cartridge for Nintendo 3DS. According to the report provided by IGN, the trilogy will be available in the market this Christmas because Rovio is planning to make their sales count for it. Rovio’s Executive Vice President for Games, Petri Jarvilehto said that all the games are being designed for gaming consoles and not just copy pasted into the new disc. Hence, the project is taking its own time since it being developed for HDTVs and not for computer screens. He also said that the games will have various cinematic experiences which gamers will find when they are playing the game. He also said that the developers are working to provide better experiences to the gamers on the big screen which is why they have to build the game from the base point.
Rovio said that the Xbox 360 version will also offer Kinect version and PS3 will have PS move support and for 3DS they have StreetPass options. Rovio believes that there are many customers ready to buy this but they need to provide them ultimate gaming experience.
